Manningtree Local History Museum was opened in 1987 as to provide for the community a display of social, industrial and family history. The Museum is a registered charity run by a volunteer group and located in the Public Library in Manningtree High Street.
The displays are designed to appeal to adults and children alike, both resident and visitors.
A programme of talks on aspects of local history are held bi-monthly.
